The following podcast tells the story of three Gypsy Traveller girls trafficked to Canada in the early 20th Century. A practice that continued up to the 1970s. Focusing on the continuing trauma experienced by descendants of these girls [historical or intergenerational trauma] I speak my truth by way of a final public ceremonial telling as part of the healing process. I have a duty to those who come after me to lay the pain to rest as does the current government who can help facilitate the healing process with an official apology and redress.
